The Real Target Of The Film

...was obviously Major Hathaway. The aliens made it so the trigger for the bomb in spencers chest to be him finding his own body, which they knew he would becuase the aliens are smarter than we are...or more cunning at least...anyway...Major Hathaway wasnt just some chump with a gun chasing Spencer...he was a huge part of the ESA in terms of the importance of his job. If the aliens were smart--smartER,-- maybe they would have put a hathaway replicant on earth with orders to assinate anyone he pleases on the false basis that they were replicants. by time anyone got wise to the plot, damage would have already been done....while spencer was tasked--supposedly--to kill the chancelor, thats all he would have been able to get near....hathaway could have gotten close to anyone and put a bullet in the targets head....only problem would be making the replicant aware of what it is...an assassin....anyway...any body have any ideas????
