Great plot, very underrated. Watch it!

Philip Dick is probably the only author whose works have almost all being made into great movies. There's Minority Report, Adjustment Bureau, Total Recall and, of course, Blade Runner. Imposter, like Screamers (and the little known animated 'A Scanner Darkly') has been an underdog chiefly due to the lack of A-list stars and some poor cinematography but the solid plot and some great twists more than makes up for all that. The sci-fi themes are beautiful and apparent and intriguing requiring a minimal use of sets and props (unlike Star Wars, Transformers or Jurassic Park). As with any Philip Dick story there are some profound philosophical questions that greatly contribute to the film. Some niggling plot elements remain, but nothing that is not present in other films of its genre - and are quite tolerable.

I highly recommend this one for sci-fi fans. You will not be disappointed.
