Isn't Inman the perfect man?

I loved how he was so chivalrous and patient.

And honorable despite the horror around him.

I think he was made to appear so more in the movie than in the novel. In the book, he makes it a point to go after the Giovanni Ribisi character that turned them in to the home guard, and exacts his revenge on him.

I don't think a perfect man would be so inclined... and in the movie version, they leave that part out.

I thought Jude Law was near perfect for the role as scripted.
