Never understood the appeal of Nicole Kidman

she has ZERO on screen charisma. ZERO. She looks ghostly pale. I won't deny the great figure and perhaps youthful exuberance in Days of Thunder. But how this woman continues to get work is beyond me. She is atrocious.

Even if it means me taking a chubby, I will suck it up!

Cool story, bro.

We all needed to know.

She is atrocious.
I can see you've really thought about this topic in some depth.
She looks ghostly pale.
She has a light complexion, which given the sort of character Ada is meant to be in this film, (a non-outdoors person) makes sense, given the context of the film. I thought Nicole was great in the part.🐭

She's not one of my favorites but I've seen her do better work than Cold Mountain. She looked like she just came out of wardrobe when she should have looked more downtrodden and plain. She looked so beautiful and there she was alone, hungry and unable to do hard work but her makeup and hair (clean) were perfect.

I don't care for her either, she is the main reason I don't like the movie. When I read the book I imagined Madeline Stowe and Daniel Day Lewis in the leads. It would've been a much better movie.

Never understood the appeal of this mindless thread.
