james hetfield sings in this movie!

you know that makes this movie just that one little bit cooler!

Which song? as far as I know the only metal song is sung by Trey "Little Boy your going to Hell"

reply

trey sings the intro to "little boy you're going to hell", but when the song switches to heavy metal, the voice changes to james hetfield's.

reply

oh ok.. you're right i listened to it again and thats definitley james heitfield. I always thought it sounded like Trey though..

reply

Hetfield sucks. Megadeth would've done it with far more panache.

Makes Metallica money grabbers....

What's all this shouting? We'll have no trouble here

reply

Metallica money grabbers?

I suppose Megadeth's concerts and CDs are all free.

reply

I don't like either. It's just what Metallica did with napster, and how bitchy they are about piracy just seems like they're screwing the fans.

There are plenty of artists who actually promote illegal downloading. Metallica decided that they deserve to overcharge for mediocre music, which is *beep*

Hetfield is a great vocalist, while Mustaine (is a great guitarist) sucks at vocals. He sounds like is singing on the toilet while having extreme constipation.

Metallica sued Napster because Napster released private material that Metallica was still working on. Napster placed "I Dissapear", as well as several snipits and riffs from St Anger without Metallicas permition. We all would have done the same thing.

Wow! I'm overwhelmed by the unintelligent, casual, uninformed support for Metallica. I love Megadeth, but I guess I've not really got the spare time to fight all of the doubters, so I guess Metallica wins by default.

But please respect my fellow Megadeth fans. You yourselves have promised them justice for all. It's a sh*t album, but a definitive statement. Restrain yourselves. Restraint comes hand in hand with power.

By the way, none of this has anything to do with the South Park Movie. I'm sure Parker and Stone consider all heavy metal musicians to be douches. Even Primus.

If you had bothered to read the lyrics to some of the songs on that album, you'd realise the title "...And Justice for All" is an ironic one. Metallica were making the statement that actually Justice favours those with the power, money or influence to manipulate it. I invite you to read the lyrics to the following songs, as proof of my point.

Also, "sh*t album"? You mad?

reply

Okay I hope to end this once and for all. Metallica DOES NOT perform in this movie. Read the credits, it's that simple...The song is sung by D.V.D.A. Trey and Matt's band. There isn't one reference to Metallica in the credits. I don't wanna hear any more *beep* about it. They aren't in the film! Period!

Metallica interview in Playboy magazine in 2001, the band members themselves make mention that Hetfield was the voice of "Hell Isn't Good" in the South Park movie: http://metallica.awardspace.com/inter13.html

James Hetfield's IMDB credits, "Hell Isn't Good" performance included: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0381723/

reply

"Hell Isn't Good" is the greatest Metallica-rated work to me...not a fan of those guys.
