Why include The Great Gazoo?
I've always thought it was strange that they included The Great Gazoo in this, given that the character was widely seen as the "Jump the Shark" moment for the original series (I'd go with Bam-Bam myself, but that's by the by). I don't even think he's like Scrappy-Doo, who was at least popular with kids before becoming a punchline. I know there are Gazoo fans out there (including Rosie O'Donnell!), but I don't think there would have been too many complainants if they didn't include him. My guess he was included to keep the studio happy that there would be something "zany"\" cool" to appeal to kids, in a film otherwise about fairly adult concerns (dating, marriage, class, gambling etc).
