According to a Charmed Fan, Billie was meant to ask that!

A Charmed fan on here put a link to the original script of the episode where Paige stupidly asked,"How did you guys vanquish The Source last time?" Which infuriated Charmed fans as Paige helped them vanquish The Source TWICE! In the original script Billie asked that question which actually made sense as she was a novice witch at the time. I remember another Charmed fan saying,"How did Rose Mcgowan allow her character to ask such a stupid question? She should have refused to have then expert witch Paige ask that stupid question! " The response was something like,"Rose was phoning it in by this point and was just robotically spewing her lines without thinking about the inconsistencies in her lines."

Drake is repetitive. He just raps the same thing over and over as if he is in an insane asylum!LOL:D

The fact that this line wasn't edited out really shows how no one cares by this point!

Did they say how and why the line was taken from Billie and given to Paige?

My *guess* (strictly guess) is so they could use that shot of the girls looking at the Source as part of the opening montage without including Billie - that season's version of the girls watching Dan...

But if so, they really should've changed the script...

I remember talking about this on this forum some years back. Paige could have forgotten all those events. If you remember back in season 4 "The fifth Haliwell" I believe it was called. When cole got power brokers to infect Paige and she nearly died. After the brokers took the infection out of Paige her memories were really shot and we don't know how much past memories altogether were affected. It was so bad that she forgot even meeting Karen that day. The amount of events of the prior weeks she also forgot we don't know. And it could of included not remember fighting the Source three episodes earlier in Charmed and Dangerous

Phoebe: Hey, Karen!

Karen: Oh, I'd hope I'd find you here.

Paige: Do we know her?

Piper: Oh, your memory really is shot.

Oops! I was so excited about your response, GZV, that I copied it over to another site, but a member over there came up with a rebuttal:

Hmmm no I don't believe that at all tbh, she would have remembered such a huge event like that, and surely someone would have reminded her, not to mention a few episodes later when they vanquished Cole she knew the spell and everything. So that theory can't be correct.

Oh, well, was definitely still a good try!

That's what I was going to say, Paige clearly remembers everything in the later episodes of season 4, including the spell used to vanquish the Source.

It's just another oversight by the writers. Just like in season 5 when Paige is making potions to defeat Cole and says they are "stronger than the ones we used on the Source" but they never used any potions to fight the Source at any point in any episode.

Hmmmm. Now you both have gotten me thinking about a lot of things. Now i have to do some research. But your right. Its probably an oversight from the writers.

It's almost comical how every time they tried to keep continuity by bringing up previous episodes...they blew it,
