Paige seeking enlightenment is considered selfish?

WTF?

reply

I think it was more about Paige and her sisters putting themselves and their wishes before innocents and the greater good, which actually is a fair point

reply

Although to also be fair, Paige did that a lot less than her half-sisters did.

It's been ages since I've seen S8. Which episode was this?

Kill Billie part 2 leading up to isolation in the underworld and the war between the ultimate power against the charmed ones

reply

:) Thank you. So after Sam and the Elders forced her to be a living whitelighter rather than the social worker she wanted to be and should've been. That makes sense that she would then hunt for that. No, I don't count that as selfish at all - after having her life screwed up like that, I can see why she would want enlightenment - it's the only way where she could be at peace with her destiny and use it to help innocents, the only one who did in the flash-forward (if you believe that's real, which I don't.)

reply

She wasn't forced to do anything. She was the one to quit her social worker job.
