Currently watching it and man is it fun. The feel of this season is awesome. Its so dark. The sisters actually feel like sisters here. Piper is def best as the middle sibling.
shareI agree totally, although I love S2, too - if you get rid of the Leo-Piper-Dan triangle. The standalone episodes are *so* great in that one.

Yes, first season is very strong. I love dark atmosphere about it. Episodes are nearly perfect. All three of sisters are blended together with such good writing and then I continued to the season 2 and it went downhill so fast. Season 2 has the strongest opening episode and Witch Trial feels so season 1. But after Morality Bites season 2 became ridicilous. In my eyes, all bad aspects of the 2nd season make first one special even more.
I am always back and forth with this one and season 4 as the best out of series.
Season one is my favourite season as well, I thought it went downhill after that. It had the perfect balance of comedy and drama and a nice gothic atmosphere. In season 2 things became goofier and brighter. Season 3 continued the goofiness, but also contained too much drama. The other seasons I don't even care about.

shareWell, if you haven't watched them yet and have enjoyed the show up through S5, you might want to give them a try. Despite what it seems on this board, there are a lot of fans who like those seasons, especially S6 or S7 or both.
Just depends upon what you like.
I have seen all the seasons, just by watching season 1 again its so good I just don't know if I can handle what I know those seasons are

shareFantastic! If you enjoy 'Oh, My Goddess!' (the season finale), then just keep on watching! If you don't, time to call quits on the re-watch - and I say that only because you said you weren't sure if you wanted to watch the last three, so I take that to mean you weren't that impressed with Chris and Billie. If you were impressed with Chris, watch S6 and then watch S7; if you were impressed with Billie watch S8.
Some fans when re-watching find they enjoy the latter seasons a lot more than they did the first time through.
