Three online friends and I did a Charmed marathon last week where we each chose our favorite episode and then all four of us watched them at the same time in the order they were aired, commenting as we went along. One of the choices was 'That Seventies Episode' and when Phoebe meets Patty outside of the dinner and the camera showed them from the side we were all amazed by how similar they looked.
Doing the same thing with the others, I really don't see much similarities at all, just like I don't think the four of them look like sisters. But Shannen, Holly and Alyssa were great at acting like sisters.

To me, Piper looks the most like Patty.. they both have slightly smaller eyes and similar noses. Phoebe looks the most like Grams.

You have to see that shot from 'That Seventies Episode' (wish I knew how to do screen shots, but I don't) when Phoebe first meets Patty and the camera shows them looking at each other.
I'll bet you'd be amazed by the similiarities, too. I still don't think Piper looks much like her and neither does either Prue or Paige.

I just rewatched the episode and I am finding it hard to pick out the precise moment you are talking about, as there's not really a point where they are looking at each other and you can see both of their faces side by side...

To do a screnshot,
just widen the video so it takes up the whole screen, press "print screen" or "prt sc" it's usually near the top. Then open up word, right click in the file and select paste. The image will appear. Then right click the image and select "save as picture/image" so then you can save it as a PNG or JPG on your computer and upload on to the internet.
I didn't have the chance to rewatch the episode but that image is actually enough to convince me.

I'd say Patty is definitely a cross between Piper and Phoebe. It also makes me wish Paige was cast as Jennifer Love Hewitt. She would have matched Patty, Piper and Phoebe perfectly. Rose McGowan wasn't too far off when she was brunette but her skin was still a bit fair. This can be explained away by her having a different father though.
I still think Prue, though beautiful, was very different from the others. It would have been a bit more believable if her hair was dyed brunette from the star and not just Season 3. Or if we Grams was shown to have green eyes or darker hair. I feel like Prue doesn't truly match until Chris shows up and I have to make the assumption that Prue's features are just recessive to the Warren/Halliwell line.
You know who I felt DIDN'T look like sisters?? Billie and Christy (despite the possible pun of their names being Billy Crystal). The only thing they had in common was they were two attractive blonde girls. Beyond that.....um....that's it.
