Grams' favorite. Every time they have Grams back, she and Piper are bonding and hugging, loving each other, teasing...even when they fight (argue) it's fun. I'm telling you, Piper and Grams are it!

Piper and Grams remind me of my mom and grandmother. My mom (the eldest of three siblings) was the only one to remain in our home town. Currently, they live together, taking care of one another. So naturally, they bonded more.
I think this was the case of Piper and Grams. Prue left for her career and fiance. Phoebe left for New York to find her father and start a new life. Grams loved them all the same but was able to relate to Piper more as she was always there.
I think because the majority of her re-appearances were for Piper related things if you think about it.
Season 3 she returns for her wedding, season 4 she returns to explain Paige and Piper is pissed off, season 5 she returns to help Piper with her pregnancy and then for the wiccaning etc etc.

She was in 16 episodes, and maybe five were completely Piper related. When we see them together, they have a closeness that is lacking with the other girls, even Prue. I could be forgetting some scenes or not recalling everything, but that's the idea I always got.
