Paige and Phoebe dead togeather in so many episodes!.

I never really counted pipers death in "Deja vu All Over Again" as a real death since it happened within a magical time loop. Awakened for me is the one I regard as her first death. Which was a big no no for the elders as she had already died fully and naturally and Leo healed her while she crossed over. In some ways I beleive all her near deaths after that were sort of a kind of backfire to what Leo did. Almost like piper had formed some sort of supernatural connection to the afterlife making the call of death on her much easier. Like death kept coming back for her.

Even when piper died naturally again in AHBL after getting shot, Prue forces Leo to fix the situation which they do and prue ends up the one dead after that. Felt to me like prues name got replaced with pipers on Deaths list. And remember Death had warned prue in "Death Takes a Halliwell" that Death wasn't the Enemy and if she kept fighting death and trying to prevent it when its ones time especially when death was a natural one she was headed to being next on his list. I'm sure when piper died on the operating table all those memories of her moms death and Death claiming her came back to her and she wasn't ready for Death to take piper. I could just imagine what her thoughts about the Angel of Death would have been at that time in the hospital. She probably was like Over my dead body is he talking piper. And she was probably waiting in the room to see if he would try. Just my opinion on how I explain to myself prues death and how it could make sense. 

Similar to when phoebe in Styx Feet Under knocked the energy ball out of the half demons hand preventing the pastors wife and her unborn baby from dying which was their time according to the AOD, then phoebes name got replaced with the preachers wife name on his list. Note also it was Paige's protection spell that initially prevented the pastor from dying when he should have and even though death reversed the spell and reclaimed him, still Paige nearly dies herself. Moral of the story, its never a good idea to mess with Death. Kill the demon or warlock before he kills the innocent but don't put protection spells on the innocent or try to reverse death that has already occurred.

Plus again piper gets recruited to help with the backlog. And normally I don't think the Angel of Death would be able to do that without it being ones time, but for some reason he was able to do it to piper. Why could he claim her soul like that? Even for a short time if he had no right to it? Again back to what I said about the repocussions of what Leo did in Awakened. These incidents just give me things to ponder.
