Just finish my rewatch and have to admit I like later seasons better!.

I know it may be unpopular option but I just prefer storylines and I like Paige more then Prue.

I like bond between Piper/Phoebe/Paige better.

The earlier seasons are just so much better written, with a more consistent mythology, a better balance of humour and drama, much more of a sisterly bond between the main characters and less focus on fanservice. A lot of the later storylines were just too silly, ridiculous or annoying. With a lot of whining.

*shrug* I agree, but it depends upon what you like.

No way I could like the latter seasons with how horribly Phoebe and Piper change, but that's what's important to me. PhoeME and Poor, Poor Pitiful Piper bugged me too much. But if fans like them that way, then they'd probably enjoy those seasons.

And I admit I haven't rewatched the final seasons in years - Season 8, never. So, who knows? I might change my mind if I tried.

I just don't want to.

I will always prefer Prue to Paige, but I must admit that season six is my favorite! The mystery of Chris is enthralling.

While there is something classic about season 1 and season 3 is one of the best, seasons 5 and 6 have always been my favorite! Sure there's a few strange episodes here and there, but the earlier seasons had those too. I thought the storylines were very interesting and I liked how they mixed in enough humor.

Season 5 is a bit underrated, but I can see why. The main issue, at the start, is Phoebe. Her character makeover is mostly horrible. Her treatment of Cole is awful because the writing doesn't really portray him as an evil person until his last two episode, which was inconsistent. I wish they had kept Cole as a recurring shady good guy character that is no longer Phoebe's love, but a good resource for demon knowledge.

Also Wyatt and his premise is also garbage.

That being said, the sisterly bond is underrated here! I was taken aback by how much the new trio really do mesh together, especially season 5. Piper even named her first child after Paige (well middle name). The sisterly moments were there, but the show's focus did change from three sisters who happened to be witches to three witches who are sisters
