Worst movie ever?
Not just bad but totally a piece of garbage. The entire dialogue consists of about 65 words, curse words, n-words, "dawg", and they just shoot each other and smoke weed the entire time. Just awful.

shareI really think it depends on what you go in expecting...I appreciate it as a sort of a "hood" version of a b-movie...it's trash cinema of a unique variety. Because Hype Williams is visually very skilled (see his countless music videos), you have some legitimately hypnotic shots: the whole opening sequence, DMX's crazy white house, some of the musical montages. You also have a plot that devolves from bare-bones basic crime story featuring rappers into some crazy *beep* involving religion and FBI conspiracies, and whenever the movie tries to make a really serious statement about humanity, it's unintentionally HILARIOUS (an important ingredient for any b-movie). Nas' character, while still participating in shoot outs and smack-dealing, basically goes "Man, but I been readin' this book and sheeet, books are crazy. Makin' me think all different". *DMX gets angry*. Nas: "When's the last time you read anything, man?" DMX: "NEVA, MOTHA**cka! *dramatic musical noise*. I mean come on, that crap is entertaining!

You've obviously never seen Belly 2: Millionaire Boyz Club.
shareNot necessarily so. Malik Sayeed's cinematography prevents that from happening. The opening intro is simply fantastic.
shareI agree. The acting stunk (well they are rappers and not actors), Nas, DMX, T-Boz, well, hell everybody, but they were trying too hard to sound hard all the time. It was way too forced. I'd have to agree with the OP that this was a pretty crappy movie.
