No, this isn't mean to be an academy award winning movie, but it's campy and fun and Kristy Alley is at her best playing the crazy mom.

Seriously one of the most underrated movies ever. A touch too long but I laugh my head off every time.

I'm glad to see there are others who appreciate the film too. It's so underrated and so funny. Kirstie Alley is definitely the highlight. Her performance is a wonderful satire of the obsessed stage mom. She even nailed the Minnesota accent!
