I just saw this on Starz and loved it. I can't understand all the bad reviews it got when it was released since I found it very funny and enjoyed the performances from so many wickedly talented comedic actors. Allison Janney and Ellen Barkin, just to name two, were a riot together.
Does anyone think that it might get better reviews if it was released today?

I think it would have to get better reviews if released today. That's the only thing I can think to explain its horrible rating??
It IMHO is a huge leap ahead of most of the comedies of the last decade.
