I love this movie! recently realised it could be a remake?

I just saw the trailer for the 1975 movie Smile and it seemed to have a lot of similarities. Anyone else think so?

It is a remake of an entirely different film.

The film it is homaging is a foreign film called Horí, má panenko (1967).

I can see a little bit of "Smile" influence in this movie. Modern satire on beauty pageants.
