Since it's an excuse to revive a sitcom, I'm sure I'm just over-thinking this, but I can't help it.

The retcon worked for me, but I can't help but wonder how much it's supposed to encompass.

My main example/issue being Grace's pregnancy. So that didn't happen, fine. But she got pregnant on that plane ride in Season 8. So are we supposed to consider everything (and I mean everything, not JUST her pregnancy storyline) since that episode to be part of Karen's dream, null and void? Also, since 9x01 makes it sound like the divorce is recent, if that pregnancy never happened, what drove Grace to get back with Leo?

Whatever they intended for us to forget, retconning the entire pregnancy isn't really that far fetched. After all, as we all know, the writing for the show had become subpar that late in the series anyway, so between S8 Ep 15 (where we learn Grace is pregnant) and the Finale, not much happened that we would need to hold on to as "reality" since it was pretty much all filler anyway. Maybe they're just hoping we will just look past it and put it out of our heads.
