Oh my god, you people take this so seriously!

So they want to do a reboot.
So they ended the series in a weird way, so what? The earth isn't gonna melt if they just pick it up where 2006 left off. With the kids, without the kids. Who cares??? It's just a TV show. A TV show that had loveable characters who brought us countless laughs. And so what if people just want to see a little more of them? Big deal. I don't care if the future stuff did or didn't really happen. I don't care that I might have to suspend belief to enjoy a little more. I think realism went out the door years ago for this show.

It's just a fun show. If it comes back, watch it. Or don't. It's up to you.

God, what turmoil you people throw yourselves into. Over a TV show.

I agree 100%. Though I'd personally prefer for them to keep the same narrative, I'm just happy to have it back at all.
People treat TV like some kind of coveted art form these days. Why not just let a dumb sitcom exist?

Exactly. I have pretended for years that crappy finale never happened so I'm more than okay with them just disowning it.

I agree they could easily start off the show again without the time jump and probably will.

How did it end? Can't be any worse than Roaeanne or The L Word. Worst finales. Heard Lost was pretty bad too. Cheers had a good ending.

I wouldn't say Lost was bad, but it was kind of a slap in the face of all the mystery buildup. Crappy payoff.

I agree. I think people are getting far into it. I'm just happy there's a reboot. I don't care what happened in the finale. That's in the past!
