She was only 16 when the this movie was filmed but she is playing a college student...Movie came out in 1998 and she didnt turn 18 until 2000. I know its not much of an age difference but still..

That bothered me too!

I call movies that are considered 'bad' hated movies.

She could pass as 18 though, because she's kind of tall and mature-looking (and well-developed, may I add).

Jonathan Taylor Thomas wasn't 18 either and I don't think he could pass as 18 even though he was closer to it than Jessica.

I think she passed for 18 just fine. Though it is funny seeing that since it's usually older playing younger.
