I wish that David Mamet would get together with the remaining members of this great cast and create a story around them especially Catherine and Sir Roberts
the chemistry between them was too great to ignore, we, the viewer were left unsatisfied at the end of the movie, I know that it is fifteen years later, but, Rebecca and Jeremy are still both so physically beautiful that could still work. I think that being a practical girl Catherine does marry Desmond, they both know that she is not in love with him, but they do have a great respect each other and it is a good marriage, in the mean time Sir Roberts has become this rich and powerful lawyer who has had many women in his life but has never married or found true love..... until he by chance meets Catherine again , and the sparks fly. I would love to see a story that would kick Downton Abbey to the curb.
