Why bring the hammer to the blondes house?
The young man did not seem to me to be too bright. You could easily have asked why he did many of the things he did in the film and get the same answer.
its bugging me for such a simple story why make it so complicated,it was all to convenient in the end the way he got nabbed for everything, what if he didnt bring the hammer to her house which is a huge possiblity and he even left the hammer at her house, like did the whole film rely on him carrying a hammer?
What difference did it make whether the hammer was at the blonde's or in his own apartment. Cobb could get it from either location and bring it to the blonde's house...
did cobb have a plan instead of just relying on a hammer?
We are not privy to what his and bald man's plan was exactly. Only the basic idea that the blonde needed to be killed without having the finger pointed at him. Cobb not only did that, but if the rug is found, it could also add more circumstantial evidence against the young man and add to the motives the cops attribute to her death.
