More adult jokes/references in children's cartoons

Not necessarly an "adult" joke/reference, but most kids wouldn't get it. I was looking at the Top 250 the other day, and I clicked on a link to Det Sjunde inseglet (The Seventh Seal). I read what it was about, and then i went off my computer. I was watching the episode of CatDog where Cat's sweedish pen pal comes in and Dog has to dress up as the bottom half of a cat. At the end of the episode when their walking away and Dog is talking about Sweedish things he likes he says something like,"and i also like that movie about the reaper playing chess with that guy..." This is clearly a reference to DSI. I have noticed many more jokes in cartoons aimed at adults: Jimmy Neutron has many references to Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction for one.

I made him an offer he couldn't refuse.

I just thought of a new one. In the episode about the mail man it references A Fistfull of Dollars. The song for that episode goes, "...it's all about a fistfull of mail."

Also there was a Dumb and Dumber reference in that episode w/ the Ingrids.

Cliff: Who's the dead man who hit me with that Salt Shaker?
Dog: *hidden* It was a pepper shaker!

And why wouldn't kids get that joke?!

Spongebob and Rugrats have some adult humor also. There are things I didn't notice on them, until now.

I'm not sure if I'm thinking too hard but in the "The Camping Episode" on Spongebob,I thought Spongebob and Patrick were looking at porno magazines.

You should see the "Jaws"-parody in Spongebob ("Clams"), because it's really great!
