There are moments of genius in this film, but it can be uneven and some of the plot turns border on the absurd. The ending is pretty cheezy and ultimately what began as an intriguing melodrama becomes a bit of a mess. 6/10
"I'll book you. I'll book you on something. I'll find something in the book to book you on."
I must have missed those. 2/10 is my generous rating.
I don't care about your low rating but why are you telling us? What does 2/10 mean? Why don't you explain why you don't like the film instead of lazily giving an arbitrary score? Do you think you're a famous critic and people care whether you give it thumbs up or down?

If you don't care why are you asking? Shouldn't you be asking the OP why he rated it 6/10? Does this mean you haven't heard of me? Did you really think I'd respond after 3.5 years? Why are we both asking so many questions?
Anyway, I found the film to be melodramatic and absurd, not to mention ridiculously over the top. I also just generally don't like films that wallow in misery the way this one does, not to mention the end, which is among the laziest and most hit you over the head didactic things I've ever seen in a film. Finally, to actually answer your questions, I just figured I'd give a brief response summing up my very negative opinion and go from there if a conversation got started, which actually seems to be paying off for me after all these years. In conclusion, thanks for the response
