Upon rewatch...Wow this is bad/laugable

By extension she is also a wealthy woman, but couldn't find a lawyer to get her off.

Could just board a plane as an escaped parolee.

It's not like Johnathon adjusted his looks.
No plastic surgery, just his face walking around in the Universe.

I never yelled so much at the screen in my life.

I noticed at least a dozen issues with this movie upon rewatch as well. The only reason to watch the movie is to look at young Ashley Judd.

I cannot argue with this logic!

Surprisingly, she wasn't in very many films during her "it girl"/famous period.

What's really laughable is that the husband was a terrible killer. She found him and can expose him, so instead of making sure he kills her, he puts her in a coffin alive. Of course she gets out. Then at the end when he was cornered by her and Tommy Lee Jones, he somehow gets the upper hand, but again was slow as a turtle to pull the trigger, allowing an injured Tommy Lee Jones to tackle him.

The idea that they charged her without a body is ridiculous. Did it not occur to them that crime scenes to frame someone can be faked? All of the evidence is suspicious, but not enough for her to be convicted. Also, wasn't Nick the one who paid for that boat while he was known to be financial stress? That itself would be suspicious.
