locked her in the cemetary
Did I miss something, or did the version I watch have a bad edit? I could have sworn her husband threw her into the tomb and slammed the door and left. Yet when they go back to her, she's in the coffin??

shareNot necessarily a bad edit, so much as they just didn't show it. The scene where he knocks her out ends with him dragging her into the tomb, but he goes in as well and shuts the door behind himself. They don't show us him putting her into the coffin but it's left up to our imagination since that's where she awakes in her next scene.

Thank you for the response!
He's dumb. He should have killed her. Then he doesn't kill Tommy Lee Jones before going after her at the end. Then multiple times he aims the gun and just stares.
shareI have to admit, I liked the film, but the ending was dissatisfying. Like you mentioned, you can't take it too seriously when a person has numerous chances to shoot, and they hold the gun and do nothing. Plus, I wanted hr to beat up on him for a while before getting final revenge.
shareYes, you would think he'd have slit her throat or something.
And how did he get the keys to the crypt?
.
Even if he didn't kill her before putting her in the coffin and thought that the coffin would finish her off by lack of oxygen. He should've knocked her out more significantly since she woke up relatively soon afterwards without any signigicant injuries.
share...and searched her for weapons or something to use as a tool.
He was shown to be a planner and very crafty, so this lapse was way out of character.
