Question about the soundtrack

Before I watched the film I always had the impression that it would include All The Pretty Little Horses. It doesn't or am I deaf? Is it in the long version? Why give the film his title and don't put the song in?

It’s just so sad that the variety of the world should be used as a contentious issue.

The song, "All the Pretty Horses" is not used in the film. Cormac McCarthy simply used the song title for his book. I suspect he chose it as the title because it's familiar to so many people. Also, horses are an integral part of the region where the story takes place and the lives of the people of that region.

Thanks for answering.
I guess you're right. Maybe it's just a coincidence. And I didn't think about the fact that the book was already named All the Pretty Horses. I got it as a christmas gift BTW but I haven't read it yet.
