When I heard him sing, I thought that's just the style of Raul Malo, but isn't it actually Daniel Lanois. He looks quite similar to Raul, minus the beard!
shareThe original soundtrack credits list Raul Malo as the singer and he confirmed that to me when I had an opportunity to meet him after a show. He also said he hasn't sung it since. I told him he should and that it would be nice if he did an album all in Spanish some time. He said he was working on it.
