38-200 caliber

There is interest in Blevins pistol, the 38-200 that Blevins claims he got at "The getting place" I've looked and despite the movie calling the 38-200 a rifle cartridge the only reference to the 38-200 is a British pistol used for the military. If there is a 38-200 rifle it's a rare beast and certainly fake cowboys would have little knowledge of this caliber weapon. Has anyone else heard of a rifle with the 38-200 caliber?

Blevins states his gun is is a 32-20 Colt, not "38-200". The 32-20 revolver was made in different configurations by Colt Firearms. The one in the film is a single-action, six-shot revolver, resembling the Colt Peacemaker. There was also a double action revolver from Colt in this caliber, but it more closely resembled the "Police Positive", and was known as a Colt Army Special.
