I watched this in theaters and just revisited it. It's surprisingly fun and the CGI was well used. The acting isn't perfect and there's definitely cheesy story elements (Arnold died to save the world lol), but I'm impressed with how well it holds up. Definitely a fun rewatch.

shareIt was an interesting year in film. Stigmata, End of Days, House on Haunted Hill, Fight Club, The Haunting, And Sleepy Hollow were very different and interesting examples of film during a big leap in technology. Just the difference in how CGI was used in all of these movies probably explains why End of Days wasn't recieved as well.
