So how long til this is remade... Now that last summer is getting a remake

I'm not so sure a remake would work today. Back in the early 90's the internet was nothing like today. Now you can just google anything or visit Snopes. Didn't people believe the legends because there was very little proof to refute it? A killer using urban legends as a backdrop was somehow more plausable in the 90's.

If the IKWYDLS remake/reboot is a hit I can totally see this happening.

If they did remake this it wouldn't do well like the original did. All movies can't be remade this is one of them.

It would make more sense for this to be remade rather than IKWYDLS, because you can come up with any scenario, rather than the hit-and-run revenge. But yeah, I'd rather just originals over remakes. It'll only be a matter of time before this is remade anyway, sadly.

I hope it gets remade you can argue unfriended was a remake of urban legend from a social media point of view

Or here's an idea. How about coming up with an original idea and HAVING THE BALLS TO MAKE AN ORIGINAL MOVIE?!! Just a thought.
