The principal and the car scene.

This has to be one of the most stupid death scenes in horror history.

I mean, the car was going forward and by logic there was no reason to think the card could have turned to the right or left.

So why walking in the same director as the car is moving?

Of cause the killer was walking along side of the car as it moved along toward the Dean so I guess he was a dead man in that scene no matter what he was going to do and certainly with slashed back heels he wasn't going to get far away enough from the killer.
