theres no way on earth that that girl could of done all those killings. she wouldnt of been strong enough to kill and dump and carry the bodies of the blokes. no way. how did she manage to hang that guy from the tree, how did she manage to transport the bodies to other places.
its too unbelievable and spoilt the film i think. i know she was crazy but that doesnt make her have strength beyond belief
The final scene of the film reveals that everything we've seen was a story being told by a student in another college sometime later. Therefore, it's not necessary what actually happened, but the student's embellished version of events.

Everything still happened and Brenda is still the killer who survived, but the way the events have been told have been embellished, hence why Brenda (who knows) says she's going to tell how it "really happened".
It was actually a very clever way to avoid all the inconsistencies and plot holes.

Yes, it does. If we're assuming Brenda's really the killer, then why would she even say the story was not correct unless the whole movie was an urban legend?

I'm going to quote Scream and say "That is so sexist."
But all jokes aside, is it more likely for any of the other characters to have pulled it off? I doubt any of the guys would have been able to pull Joshua Jackson's body up to that tree. That being said, I really don't care. The scene itself was pretty good.
As for moving the bodies into the abandoned dorm... it's a slasher film trope when the last girl standing stumbles upon her dead friends' corpses in the third act. Would you find it more believable for, say, Jared Leto's character to have done it? He didn't seem to be much stronger than Brenda, tbh.

I loved that the killer was a woman in this film. Plus her motive for why she was doing the killings elicited sympathy. You might not agree with what she's doing, but she feel a bit sorry for her because you understand why she's doing those murders.
