Silvio Horta is the worst screenwriter known to man

I just finished watching this movie and holy COW is the script bad. I mean so bad I'm surprised ANYONE find the dialogue enjoyable- campy or not campy. Not only are ALL the characters stupid and stereotypical, but their dialogue is so painfully unfunny and douchey that I imagined this was the first time someone wrote a screenplay. Nope, it still wouldn't be this bad. I actually think this movie would be decent if it had a decent script. As "Urban Legend" stands it has an ABYSMAL script. So, so bad.

It doesn't help Alicia Witt gives a wooden constipated looking performance. It's hard to like her or care about her. Even Tara Reid is more likeable.

Tara Reid is 100% more likable than Alicia Witt in this film

I have to agree. Loved this movie as a kid, but re-watching it was incredibly painful. Great concept, horrible dialogue and actors.
