Great list. some of those movies I haven't seen. I always loved those teen slasher movies I never knew how many there were thanks for posting. Me and my brother and sister love watching these kind of movies so we can laugh at the way they were killed or how stupid they were for being killed.

Haha, thanks! It's my favourite era of film lol, so I wanted to see them all clearly listed. They're just entertaining rollercoaster ride-like movies without being filled with depressing torture. Glad you liked the list and hope you get around to watching the ones you haven't seen :)

Thanks.

You missed a few btw :). Deep in the Woods is France's take on the Scream wave and is quite good, and Wishcraft is another quite good film that I lump with these films.

reply

Those were both released in the 2000s though, I liked Wishcraft but did not care for Deep In The Woods, the killers' mostive in that one was just plain confusing and nonsensical, and the acting wasn't that good.

One late 90s slasher you forgot to mention is Lovers Lane, which is pretty underrated.

If you clicked the OP's link you'd see he listed films from the 2000's :). Btw the acting in Deep in the Woods is much better if you watch it in subtitles, and not dubbed.
Yeah, Lovers Lane is pretty good.

Oh yeah, I've seen Lover's Lane, pretty amusing lol. I was really only going for American studio ones (Cherry Falls may be the only exception, though I remember it being spoken about). Anyway, thanks for looking :)

I always think of Scream, Urban Legend, and I Know What You Did Last Summer as the BIG 3 of the late 90s flicks, with Scream re-juvenating the genre, especially since it is more highly revered to this day than the other 2, which have kind of gotten lost in the shuffle. But of the 3, I find Urban Legend the most entertaining and the one I tend to re-watch more often than not.

Teaching miss tingle and the craft are slasher movies? Who knew.

reply

I mentioned Tingle wasn't, but ok, kinda screwed it up on The Craft LOL
