I really like both movies actually, and was quite surprised at the low score of them here on imdb. They're probably the best game to movie adaptations I've seen so far. If anyone can name a better one, I'm interested to know.
Resident Evil - not very good in my opinion
Street Fighter - hell no
Mario Bros - crappy
Mortal Kombat - enjoyable, but ultimately like a b-movie
Doom - haven't seen it, but I heard it sucks.
Final Fantasy - wasn't bad, but lets face it, it has very little to do with the game.
I think the tomb raider movies are quite solid action flicks, and the cast are good.
