Ancient models?

The movie implies that there is ancient knowledge and "cosmological models" of an alignment of the nine planets.
You would think that the large orrery in the cave was made by the ancients, or ancient Illuminati, and a reference was made to something predating Aristotle (384–322 BC). They're not too specific about how and when the ancient knowledge was in operation, handing down messages, and building the clock and the cave orrery.

But, the planets Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto were discovered (rediscovered?) by moderns in 1781, 1846, and 1930, respectively. The rings of Saturn, depicted on the orrery, were discovered in 1610 by Galileo.

Also, to ancients, the "planets" were just points of light in an overhead dome that was the sky.

So, if they built that nine-planet orrery, the ancient Illuminati must have been pretty advanced.
