shareI love this movie. It's definitley a favorite (next to Moulin Rouge!). I loved it so because the plot was different. OKay, lalala, they fall in love..but it's such an abstract romance story. The witch and the cooking and the--good fun!!! :) People wondered where the magic came from-- well its really how you look at it. It wasn't from the crab though. Crab was like a guardian angel. The power came from amanda. She just needed to bring it out of her.
Anyways..
I <3 this movie. No, its not award winning material.. but you really need an open mind and open heart about it.
(I think also everyone just expects to see SMG as Buffy in a role.. so people are against it a bit cos she doesnt fit that mold, ya know?)

I strangely enjoyed this movie despite almost turning it off after 5 mins. It sort of grew on me! Not the best ever but it is a light-hearted, feel good film that I'm glad I stuck with. Sarah Michelle Gellar was perfect for the role and I seem to have quite a large soft spot for her. In fact it was only because of her that I persisted with the film- which turned out to be a good decision.

I'm so glad that I'm not the only one that enjoyed this movie. I've loved it since I saw it the first weekend it opened all those years ago. I thought it was cute and really nice to watch when you're looking to just chill and enjoy a movie for what it is, no analyzing anything, no thinking too much about anything, just watching. I LOVE this movie!!!
