I love SMG in almost everything she's been in from 'Buffy' to her many horror films, and 'Cruel Intentions'. I think she is very underrated but this film scares me. I hated both 'Scooby Doo' films and have heard nothing but bad things about this film. I'm afraid I will think she can't act if I watch it. Dunno?. To see it I have to buy it, no one rents it now. Worth it for $10 bucks?

I love SMG, and think she's a fabulous actress, and her acting in this movie is just as good as anything else she's been in.
I also though Scooby wasn't great, but I did like this movie. It's one of those cute movies that doesn't really have much of a plot whatsoever that you watch by yourself on a rainy day and don't tell anyone else about.
Here, I admit it, I like this movie. It's not Citizen Kane or anything; it's just a movie with a happy ending.
I've seen it listed for TV recently, maybe you could check it out there.

shareYes, if you are a Sarah Michelle Gellar fan, buy it!! Sarah is way underrated. She has made a lot of money for a lot people in Hollywood!! No, it isn't the best movie in the world, but it's great for a lazy weekend or something. I think what hurts it most are the production values. They are kind of low-budget. Sarah is a good actress who needs better material and better directors.BTW, she was great in "The Grudge".

the story is okay in this movie but a MAGIC CRAB? MAGIC EARRINGS? she should have just went to a cooking class or something. and FLOATING? i guess for effect but the movie is very good.
