i liked this movie...not because it was really good because it wasnt, but it was really sweet and lets face it...sean patrick flanery is totally hot. the magic was a little weird but i do think it had a point: if you want something bad enough it will happen... anyone agree or disagree?
I agree with you, it is obviously not the best thing that Sarah Michelle Gellar has done, but it is not that bad, and I thought it was extreamly cute! (I really liked the magic crab...)
I liked this film. Its one of those that makes you feel good. People shouldnt take the plot too seriously..you arent supposed to. But I think its a warm and fuzzy film
I think that this is a cute little movie. It really makes you feel better and it's funny. These kind of movies are really nice when you are feeling down. Romantic comedies are not just full of crap, they are little, simpple movies, which makes you feel better when you are sad or something. Really good entertaining. These are usually rated so low, that nobody doesn't even want look at them. It would be smart if people just rate these movies, romantic comedies, like romantic comedies has to be rated. Nobody isn't telling that romantic movies are made to be masterpieces. They are just fun to watch and good entertainment.
I agree. I'm just watching it now on TV & it is such a guilty pleasure. I'm not a big Sarah Michelle Gellar fan & cooking in designer clothing is unrealistic but it's cute.
LOL I'm at the part where they're discussing magic & love & he sticks to the ceiling.
i kind of stumbled onto this film. it just came on after something i was watching and although i normally surf channels, i couldnt turn it off. and it turned out to be pretty cute. i really liked it.

I think alot of people do not get this movie, but if it were done 40 or 50 years ago it would have been a hit. American cultural standards demand alot more of a realistic premise or drawing off of myth to chain themselves to our mathmatical existence. I think in the 1950's romantic comedy was less restrained and livid with the sense that magic really can happen....anything can happen with a couple in love. The words translate emotion in a romantic movie, and I agree above that the script wasn't the best, but the premise transports me to a simpler time. I really enjoyed it and anybody wanting a soft lackadaisical romantic movie that they don't have to worry about chipping a tooth off the sexual tension from, this is your baby.
