Haters beware

Anyone who doesn't like this film is incapable of just enjoying themselves. This film is a perfect example of a simple rom-com that one can just put on and watch and enjoy!! Sure it wasn't going to win any Oscars or Academy Awards but it is still a great film because of how simple it is. And thankfully, it avoids those clichéd problems between the couple that plague other rom-coms. This film is great guilty pleasure and can be watched again and again without getting boring. So all you haters I beg of you, switch off your brains and your pathetic attempts at trying to recreate a Siskel & Ebert review and just enjoy a film for what it is.

I completely agreed. Well said. It's a wonderful guilty pleasure. Not to mention, something that I hold close to me because of my younger days. I was 8 years old when this film came out and fell in love with it. Watching it is like being a kid again.

It's fine to dislike a movie. I'm not trying to say that you shouldn't have preferences and I'm not trying to defend this film as the greatest (or even REMOTELY close to) film of all time. I'm just saying there's no need to hate. Movies can mean a lot to people... like this one does for me.

So many people, including Sarah Michelle Gellar, have harshed on this movie and I love it. Honestly I don't even like romance movies, but this is one of my few faves. So everyone else can hate, but I will continue to love it.
