Movies of this type. Know more?

I love these types of movies. Light Romance with fantasy/magic. That's why I loved Practical Magic and Simply Irresistible. Can you name more movies like this? Even the classics would be great. Looking forward to Bewitched starring Nicole Kidman.
I hated Wolf Girl and Wolfhound so please do not suggest those.

hi
i think that you are looking for magic realism movies; im a big fan too. ill suggest tim burton movies, for he does a lot of magic realism such as Edward Sissorshands, big fish and Batman. if you are really interested in this genre you should read some novels. One of the greatest magic realism writers of all times (for me) is Gabriel Garcia Marquez, i recommend you to start with "One
Hundred Years of Solitud", nobel prize winner.
one of the most beautiful magic realism movies is Amelie, a french movie. its a great movie, you should look for it.
hope it helps, and go ahead and read that novel, its really great

Hey - those are my fave kinds of movies too! I cant think of any more like that, but i do recommend reading books by Alice Hoffman - she wrote Practical Magic and alot of her books have that magical element to them- one of them The River King is being made into a movie. There's somthing about those kinds of movies that make me want to cook- its the weirdest thing.

Ella Enchanted is another one.

Oh, god, I loved Moulin Rouge!! It's not exactly about "magic" but it has fantasy elements and it definitely feels otherworldly.

I also loved Practical Magic...

If you like fantasy-cookery flicks try "Woman on Top" (starring Penelope Cruz) and "Chocolat".

You were all extremely helpful. Edward Scissorhands was so sad! Loved Ella Enchanted, 13 going on 30, Chocolat, Woman on top, still have to see Like water for chocolate.

Check out the wonderful "Le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain" a.k.a. "Amelie" (english title) by Jean-Pierre Jeunet. It's fabulous! Jean-Pierre is one of the most imaginative and creative film-makers, see his other films after you see Amelie!!!!!
