Emily Watson should have been nominated for Academy Award.

She was terrific in this film. Brilliant movie overall-very close adaptation of the novel by the same name. Wonderfully executed.

Yes, Emily Watson was good! The three boys who played Frank McCourt also gave very fine performances! I felt for the family from the beginning to the end.
The three hours of the movie didn't feel long at all. I loved the movie!

Emily Watson should have won the academy award for Angela,she is the Betty Davis of her generation. Angela's ashes is the best novel and movie of our time.

Yes, she was very good in this movie. Also, enjoyed her in "Punch-Drunk Love" and "Trixie".

Yeah she was good, accent was pretty poor though!
