My boyfriend met Frank McCourt's wife

So my boyfriend was at work last night (he's a courtesy clerk at a local grocery store), and he's helping out this women. She begins talking about how she just got back from Ireland. He says he doesn't know much about Ireland, and that the only glimpse of it he's had is from the book Angela's Ashes. She asks him what he thought about it, and he replies that he loved it, though Frank McCourt's second book, T'is, wasn't as good. She then began talking about how her husband felt while writing the books, how she felt about them, and everything like that.
