What are the changes made from the book too the movie?
I cant find the movie anywhere and I need it for tomorrow. I have read the book But I need specific differences between the two :(
Any help would be COMPLETELY APPRECIATED!!!
I own and listened to the audio book - which to me is the best way to appreciate Frank McCort's writings - he is a wonderful reader. To me, the movie was depressing because McCort himself didn't narrate. Even though the family lives in dire circumstances throughout, he manages to make parts of it funny with his beautiful Irish lilt and his singing. The movie is well acted and beautifully filmed, but the absence of McCort's narration is definitely a mistake by the director or maybe they couldn't get him to do it. But the audio book is worth listening to over and over again.
