1. how did angela and malachy meet, what were the circumstances, did they meet in america if so why were each of them there int he first place

2. are there any plans to make films about the 2 sequels if not whats the reason.

3. who are the 3 children that are at the train station when franks family arrive they appear to be part of angelas extended family but they arnt aggy or pats kids (angelas sister and brother) and we dont see any other reletives so who are they

Angela met Malachy in New York, where he screwed her (standing up, no less)on the first night they met and when they were both drunk. She got pregnant with Frank. Her family insisted that they get married and next thing you know there were four of them.

The sequel ('Tis) was about Frank's early years in New York and his adventures as an English teacher in the inner-city. Not as entertaining as Angela's Ashes and most people under 60 cannot relate to education stories from the 1950s.

The other children were probably second cousins or maybe some neighborhood children that were helping out the old lady.
