How would highlander fans feel about this idea?

I loved the 1st Highlander movie and I caught Endgame the other night and actually enjoyed that too. I think ive seen the other films but it was so long ago I can't remember. Ive also never seen the tv series so im not sure how this idea would tie in.

Anyway my idea is a new Highlander film called: Highlander Blood Lines and the general idea will be a group of immortals joining together to protect mortals from Vampires. This would bet set in a much older time period when vampires were thought to exist. Just a very back idea at the moment but how would you fans feel about Highlander series being mixed with vampires?

Okay I know this has notting to do with what you were saying and yes, Iam a fan of the highlander but I was wondering is gaelic a option on the language thing on the dvd when you buy it?

Why does this sound so familiar... oh yeah now I remember. White Wolf Publishing wrote a ROLE PLAYING GAME with that same premise.

What type of vampires would you be using? What would be their strengths and weaknesses?

Highlander Immortals can't die without their head cut off, but other then that they have no other supernatural abilities. Most vampires can move fast, are physically stronger, resistant to any illnesses and so on. Unless you gave the vampires enough restrictions to make them weaker, Vampires would not be challenged.

The vampires can lean to cut off heads at superhuman speeds and strength. If you make the vampires too weak then people would complain about how weak they are.
