if the whole theme of the movie was "Romeo and Juliet how come Jessie lived at the end and Rachel died alone? if they both died it would have been a more powerful ending.

I agree, he should have killed himself, thats what I would do if the person I love the most died.

After the dream he had he probably did. To me he looked like he was going to (the expression on his face)

I think he looked sad and a little scared but I don't see him killing himself to be with her

I think the sadness and despair he felt is worse then if he had died.
