I think this movie was well good- anyone agree?

I am biased becuase I love Kate but does anybody else agree??

yaa u are right,i think its very good movie.Which depicts most of the truths.Its just one has to see.

I love this movie, it's one of the best i've ever seen!
Kate Winslet & Harvey Keitel had the guts to do it and it shows.

My tip for everyone: buy the Holy Smoke DVD with the commentary track by Kate Winslet & Anna Campion. Their commentary is brilliant and they cover a wide range of subjects: from spirituality down to the practical difficulties of running with books tied to one's feet...

yeah i loved the film and i liked your choice of adjectives(i think thats the term) "well good," i'm always saying that. :)

I liked it, she's a very strong charismatic actress, the accent wasn't bad either - the film had a uplifting ending which was good cos I was expecting the opposite
'Meet the new boss...Same as the old Boss'

Yes, I agree. And I will go so far as to say this is a massively underrated movie that has a lot of thought provoking things to say about the intersection of power, sex, and religion.

Yep I found it to be really enjoyable with good acting from both leads. It was funny and strange and somehow sort of made sense I really liked it. 7.5/10
