I dont mean to be crude, but in the early years, there was a girl who stayed on WAY too long and it didnt help that she apparently developed rather early. I think she was Hispanic. MadTV also did a parody of her, where an actress with large fake breasts pranced around with a Barney clone and hillarity ensued.
So anyone know who Im talking about?
That was Luci (who was played by Leah Gloria). She was part of the Barney video series before the show, so she stayed on to do Season 1 of the TV show too. I'm curious about the MadTV thing though. What skit is it?

I cant find anything about the MadTV bit, Im afraid. It occured in the early to mid 1990s, I'd guess. And I think they had actual kids singing and playing and such with this Barney clone but also an adult from the show with hugely exaggerated breasts and pigtails doing the same. I assumed at the time that it was supposed to be this Luci girl, as I too thought she was far too old to be on the show.
I remember her. If I'm correct, she was supposed to be "Tina"'s older sister, and wasn't always on the show. I think I remember that in the show she would sometimes come to walk the kids home or something.
